All members are required to pay a 40.00 perteam membership per year. Single teams 20.00 per year. The membership covers club expenses and goes towards the "End of Year" awards. All members are eligible to receive any and all sponsor promotional items for the year. Tournament officials shall have the right to refuse any application, or to deny a confirmed application by returning the entry fee of a previously accepted application. Entry fee for all regular season qualifying tournaments is $50.00 (includes $10.00 big fish pot).
SUBSTITUTES:
Any and All subs must submit a membership application and pay all dues prior to fishing. Any team may use a non family member sub no more than 2 tournaments and non family member subs will not qualify to fish the classic.
Family member subs consist of: parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling under 18, child under 18, or grandchild under 18. All family member subs must also submit a membership application and pay their dues prior to fishing a tournament. Family member subs will not be held to the 2 time rule and will be eligible to fish the classic and for any "End of the Year" awards as long as they fish 1 of the regular season tournaments.
You may fish with another club member if your regular partner or his or her partner cannot fish. Both members must pay entire entry fees. Each man or woman can weigh in five fish but must be tagged or separated when brought to the scales. This eliminates confusion to the point standings and ensures the proper money slotted for the Classic.
END OF THE YEAR AWARDS:
Top 3 teams ,Biggest large mouth bass, Biggest small mouth bass (weighing)
In
order to receive any end of the year awards each team must fish a minimum of 6
tournaments. This is only fair to all members who fish the season.
CLASSIC QUALIFYING:
All members must fish a minimum of 6 tournaments or be in the top 10 to fish the Hook N Line Bass Anglers Club Classic. Please refer to the sub rules. NO prefishing for the Classic a min of 5 days before the event on either body of water.
START ORDERS:
Starting sequence will be chosen by drawing chips at each tournament for start position, except at designated events. Life jackets MUST be worn at all event starts.
SPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT:
Each competitor is expected to follow the highest standards of sportsmanship and courtesy.Furthermore, no competitor may fish within 25 yards of another competitor without the permission of the other team. Permission shall not be granted to one team at the exclusion of another. Fighting and confrontation will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification for all involved and a permanent ban from the series. No hole sitting by a non-competitor to aid a competing team. Use of any other person or 2-way communicating devices such as cell phones, pagers, CBs etc., intending to aide in locating or catching fish, is strictly prohibited. Each team member is allowed only ONE pole on the water at any given time. BOATS:
All boats must be equipped with a livewell system capable of keeping a limit of fish alive. All livewells must be checked by appointed person prior to every tournament. It must bemarked on your weigh in sheet or you will not be allowed to weigh in. If you arrive late, you must contact one of the officers of the club and have your livewells checked!
STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS:
All competitors are to abide by all local, state, federal and wildlife laws. Competitors are required to have any and all fishing licenses and / or permits for any specific area they are fishing. It is the total responsibility of all competitors to have all of their safety equipment up to date and in working order. We realize that minor issues do arise and we will deal with any issue accordingly with the possibility of a one time warning occurring. The tournament director will deal with all issues in a prudent and reasonable and fair manner. No alcoholic beverages or drugs may be consumed at any time during the tournament or weigh-in. Prescription medication may be taken if under a doctor's order.
LATE PENALTY:
Competitors not back at the official check in or weigh in site on time will be penalized one pound per minute late up to ten minutes. After ten minutes the team will be disqualified and their total weight for that event will be minimum points for event. You will be allowed to bag fish and ride in with another teams long as they are registered with the club. Fish will not be allowed out of your bag at any time.
WEIGH IN LIMITS:
All fish must be 12 inches in length unless there is state slot on said body of water and those state slots will be observed. All fish will be measured on golden rule. All fish are limited to be largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky (spotted) bass. Fish will be measured with pinched tail. Any illegal fish will disqualify that fish plus largest fish
You will be able to check any fish BEFORE weigh in but it may not be in your bag at scales.
Only artificial baits are allowed. At no time can you have live bait in the boat. There will be an 8 oz penalty for any dead fish brought to scales. Any DEAD fish will NOT qualify for big fish pot or the "End of the Year" large fish. Dead fish will not be weighed separately. All fish must be caught from boat. You may not leave boat to land fish. If for any reason you break down we will allow you to bag fish and ride in with another member. Each team may use a sub twice a year but must be the original team to fish the Classic. Each time a new sub is used he/she is required to pay the $20 membership dues prior to fishing. All weight is final when you walk away from scale. IF there are any grievances they must be brought to an officer at close of scale on the date of grievance. Each boat will have no more than 5 fish in the livewells at any given time. After the 5th fish you MUST cull out.
LEAVE BEFORE WEIGH IN:
If for any reason you leave the tourney early you must notify someone in the club.
POINTS / WEIGHTS:
All events will be on the point system as follows: 200 points for 1st place, 197 for second, 194 for third, and so on. If you do not weigh infish you will receive 3 points below the last person to weigh fish. Each team will receive 3 points below the lowest weight point totals for participating in event. The club officials will also keep track of weights and post standings for each event and year standings.
IN THE EVENT OF A TIE:
In the event of a tie the teams would both receive the points that are awarded for the spot and the subsequent place will remain vacant. The 2 spots would combine the prize money and split equally (IE if the tie were for 2nd place, both teams would receive the 2nd place points. No one would be awarded 3rd place points. The 2nd and 3rd place money would be combined and equally split between both teams).
Any person or team caught cheating will be disqualified and not allowed to fish any remaining tournaments and will be disqualified from any end of year payouts or prizes
PAYOUTS:
The pay out will be 80% for each event. The remaining 20% will go towards "End of Year" activities and club expenses. We will pay out one position for every 5 boats. Pleas take time to look over the pay out sheet in the "About Us" section of the site.
